I have a degree in Political Studies so why not use it?

In the 2003 film The Deal, Tony Blair promises that he will stand down as Leader of the Labour Party after two terms, so that his mate Gordon Brown can assume the leadership. Blair then, according to the film, reneged on that deal.

Today we learn that Winston Peters will stand down as Deputy PM after 18 months so that his good mate David Seymour can assume the role.
